Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 12:20 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 1847 Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Matthew R. Ferguson, 17, Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Ferguson hit a parked vehicle while he was backing up. Damage: Up to $2,500.
• 9:13 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 221 W. School St., Leesburg. Driver: Jesus A. Alcala, 21, South Main Street, Leesburg. Alcala said the vehicle began to accelerate on its own and couldn’t brake due to brake failure. He said he went off the roadway to avoid the next intersection and hit a sign. Damage: Up to $10,000.

North Webster

Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 1:09 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, EMS W30A1 Lane and EMS W30A Lane, North Webster. Driver: Nathan J. Ries, 41, EMS W30A Lane, North Webster. Ries swerved to miss his dog and hit a tree. Damage: Up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 10:24 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, US 30, east of North CR 250E, Warsaw. Drivers: Ashley A. Alonzo, 35, North Columbia Street, Warsaw; and Lindsy D. Keilman, 61, Hoham Drive, Plymouth. Alonzo’s vehicle hit Keilman’s. Damage: Up to $10,000.
• 7:39 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, West Winona Avenue and South Columbia Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Katrina M. Hoy, 67, South Union Street, Warsaw; Kendra S. Housel, 25, Wooster Road, Winona Lake; and Lynette D. Mollette, 44, South Walnut Street, Mentone. Hoy said she didn’t see Housel’s vehicle due to the glare of the sun. Her vehicle hit Housel’s, which caused Housel’s vehicle to hit Mollette’s. Mollette complained of shoulder and arm pain, but refused treatment. Damage: Up to $25,000.

Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 2:54 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, SR 14, Rochester. Drivers: Nichole L. Tunis, 34, Rochester; and Mark E. Shambarger, 56, Rochester. Tunis’ and Shambarger’s vehicles collided.
• 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, CR 450N and US 31. Drivers: Cheryl L. Schreiber, 54, Rochester; and Orlan S. Denzer, 63, Rushford, Minn. Schreiber’s vehicle struck a semitractor-trailer. Schreiber was trapped in the vehicle and was flown from the scene by Lutheran Air.
• 11:08 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, Old US 31, Rochester. Driver: Joshua D. Jackson, 35, Walland, Tenn. Jackson’s semitractor-trailer struck a pole at a business.
• 8:54 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, West Olson Road and River Drive, Rochester. Driver: Charles B. See, 37, Rochester. A deer ran into See’s Mustang.
• 8:13 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, East SR 14 and CR 1000E, Akron. Driver: Anna D. Eckrote, 19, Akron. Her vehicle went off the road.
