Russell Foreman Jr.
Russell Foreman Jr., 70, Warsaw, died at 11:25 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Russell was born July 20, 1952, in Warsaw, the son Russell Foreman Sr. and Peggy (Hedington) Foreman-Holmes. He was united in marriage to Vickie (Kauffman) Foreman on March 26, 1977, in Warsaw.
He worked for Explorer Van from 1980 to 2020 with 40 years of service. Russell enjoyed camping and fishing. He loved to sing karaoke especially country music. He was known to be well-spirited and to show great kindness to everyone. He cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. He was a member of the VFW, Moose Lodge and the American Legion.
Russell will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Vickie Foreman, Warsaw; daughter, Jamie Foreman-Hecke, Warsaw; two grandsons, Cameron Alexander and Aaron Hecke; two great-grandsons, Maxton Hecke and Jessie Alexander; brothers, Nick Foreman (companion Ron Haas), Fort Wayne, Tony Foreman, Pierceton, Rocky Holmes, Indianapolis, Terry (Chris) Holmes, Warsaw and John (Peggy) Holmes, Palestine; sisters, Jessie (Troy) Aker, Kissimmee, Fla., Connie Holmes, Bourbon and Janie Holmes, Indianapolis. In addition, Russell is survived by nephew-brother Noble (Kim) Pulsipher, Warsaw; mother-in-law, Mable Kauffman, Warsaw; sister-in-law, Tina (Raymond) Truex, Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in passing by two sisters, Beverly Pulsipher and Rosalee Riddle, and one brother, Kenneth Foreman.
Funeral services in celebration of Russell’s life will begin at noon Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Mike Beezley officiating. A visitation with family and friends will be from 10 a.m. to noon in the funeral chapel prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
