Dwight David ‘Pete’ Kimbrell
Dwight David “Pete” Kimbrell, 68, of Cromwell, Ind., passed away at 5:05 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw, Ind.
He was born June 15, 1945, in Birmingham, Ala., the son of David A. Kimbrell and Florence Leora (Key) Kimbrell.
He worked at Franklin Coach delivering travel trailers for 18 years and also was an independent truck driver. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion.
Survivors include his brother: Gary Joe (Vicky) Kimbrell, Columbia City, Ind.; step-brother: Phillip Ray Fetters, Cromwell; a son: Bryan Searfoss, Canada; and a granddaughter: Shona Lee Searfoss.
He was preceded in death by his father: David A. Kimbrell; his mother: Florence Leora Fetters; and his step-father: Robert S. Fetters.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13, with the funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Certified Funeral Celebrant Sharon Brockhaus will officiate. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery, Wilmot.
Memorial gifts may be given in Pete’s memory to Sons of the American Legion.
