WARSAW —  The Animal Welfare League Shelter Buddies Literacy Program will be hosting local author Kristine N. McQuown. She will be featuring her children’s book, “Good Boy Nacho.”

The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19.

McQuown shares her story about her 10-pound rescue chihuahua, Nacho. The book is illustrated by her daughter, Delaney J. McQuown.

Also attending will be AWL frequent visitor “Cory,” the Great Dane service dog, along with AWL kittens.
