WARSAW — A Warsaw woman was taken to a local hospital after a vehicle accident near American Legion.
At 3:24 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on North Lake Street, near West Fort Wayne Street.
According to an accident report from WPD, Diego A. Xiqui, 17, Warsaw, was traveling west on West Fort Wayne Street in a gray 2011 Honda Pilot. Xiqui stopped at the intersection of West Fort Wayne Street and North Lake Street, then eased out into North Lake Street’s northbound traffic. Xiqui pulled too far out into traffic and entered the path of a gray 2020 Nissan Rogue, driven by Linda K. Bradley, 62, Warsaw.
The collision caused Bradley’s vehicle to roll over onto its top. A parked, unoccupied, silver 2014 Buick Encore owned by Julie A. Korpilahti, Warsaw, was parked at the American Legion parking lot when it was hit on its driver’s side during the accident.
Bradley’s and Korpilahti’s vehicles were both towed from the scene.
Bradley complained of general pain to her entire body and was taken to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital for further medical attention.
Also assisting at the scene were Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and Lutheran EMS.
Damages are up to $50,000.
