Center For Healing & Hope Receives K21 Grant
GOSHEN, Ind. – The Center for Healing & Hope, with two clinic locations in Elkhart and one in Goshen, received a grant for $3,800 from K21 Health Foundation.
K21 Health Foundation is a private foundation that focuses on opportunities to improve health and wellness for the citizens of Kosciusko County.
The grant will support patients from Kosciusko County who come to CHH clinics for medical care. CHH, an agency in Elkhart County, provides urgent medical care and advocacy to the uninsured and underinsured who do not have access to medical care due to financial limitations. Approximately 60 to 90 patients from Kosciusko County visit CHH clinics annually.
CHH currently holds seven clinic sessions per week at the three locations and provided over 3,300 patient visits in 2012.
More information including clinic times, volunteer opportunities and ways to support the mission are available at the Center For Healing & Hope’s website.
