GC Weber School Hosts Informational Open House
Grace College’s Weber School at Fort Wayne invites families to attend an Open House from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 28. The event is open to anyone interested in Weber, but will be geared specifically toward homeschoolers who want to know more about the college application process, home school transcripts, and the school’s Jump Start program (an opportunity for students to gain college credit while they are still in high school).
Similar Open Houses will occur on Wednesday, July 11 and Thursday, August 2, both from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. These later dates will be aimed toward high school students in general.
Grace’s Weber School is an extension of the college that offers students an affordable associate degree that allows them to stay close to home, work and save, and earn a valuable degree that can continue on the Grace College main campus or transfer to the school of their choice. The Weber School provides all the essential elements of a Christian college experience. Its inception was the result of a generous donation from Henry and (the late) Frances Weber who believed strongly in Grace’s mission to provide combined faith and learning experiences in as many locations as possible. Grace hopes that this innovative program will be successful and helpful for local families and students who desire education that is professional, affordable, and close-to-home.
