Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 11:28 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, East Market Street, near South High Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Kirsten L. Mills, 59, West Ringneck Trail, Warsaw; and Jeffrey A. Ticknor, 38, Shell Bark Lane, Warsaw. Mills stopped at the Market and High Street intersection but did not see Ticknor’s vehicle traveling west on Market Street. Ticknor complained of left shoulder pain. Damage up to $50,000.
- 6:18 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, East Wooster Road, east of South CR 325E, Pierceton. Driver: Randy U. Sexton, 62, East Walnut Street, Claypool. Sexton’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $1,000.
- 5:57 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, North SR 13, south of East CR 800N, North Webster. Driver: Destiny D. Baugher, 20, East Harrison Avenue, Wabash. Baugher’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
- 6:03 a.m. Monday, April 24, North CR 800W, south of West CR 640N, Etna Green. Driver: Lyndon R. Barnes, 20, South Columbia Street, Warsaw. Barnes’ vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $25,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 2:46 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2501 Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Drivers: Bruce W. Shown, 78, East Clark Street, Warsaw; and Debra A. Bradford, 60, Chestnut Street, Winona Lake. Shown was backing his vehicle from a parking space when he hit Bradford’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
- 8:34 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 1 Tiger Lane, Warsaw. Drivers: Jarred L. Neibert II, 16, North CR 100E, Warsaw; and Samantha J. Hartman, 17, Tecumseh Street, Warsaw. A head-on collision in a parking lot occurred between Neibert’s and Hartman’s vehicles. Hartman complained of a headache after the accident and went to the Warsaw Community High School nurse’s office. Damage up to $5,000.
- 7:52 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, North Parker Street, near East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Joyce E. Hickey, 59, South Morton Street, Warsaw; and Christopher Young, 43, East Hill Street Unit 201, Signal Hill, Calif. Hickey’s vehicle turned left at a yellow light in front of Young’s vehicle, resulting in a collision. Hickey said she would go to a local hospital on her own for an evaluation. Damage up to $25,000.
- 1:36 p.m. Monday, April 24, North SR 15, north of West CR 300N, Warsaw. Drivers: Deion J. Marshall, 18, North Benton Street, Millersburg; and Kathleen K. Stout, 67, CR 18, Elkhart. Marshall’s vehicle rear-ended Stout’s. Marshall complained of chest pain and Stout sustained a lower leg injury. Both Marshall and Stout were taken to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital. Damage up to $25,000.
