WINONA LAKE — Mike Wilson is the newest member of the Winona Lake Police Department.
Wilson was sworn in as a reserve officer at the Winona Lake Town Council meeting on Tuesday, May 16.
Though Wilson has never served in regular law enforcement before, he was a military policeman. He also has extensive emergency field-related experience, having been Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory chief and Kosciusko County coroner.
Wilson and his wife Tracy co-own McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels. She and his daughter Peyton Cutler were present at Tuesday’s meeting.
