Alosi Arrested For Allegedly Using Firearm To Threaten Man

WINONA LAKE — A Warsaw man was recently arrested for allegedly using a firearm to threaten a man.
Deitrich Deshawn Alosi, 29, 641 Walter Way Apartment H., Warsaw, is charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon, a level 5 felony; and pointing a firearm, a level 6 felony.
On June 6, officers with the Winona Lake Police Department, Warsaw Police Department, and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of someone using a handgun to threaten a person.
According to court documents, a man said he and Alosi were having a verbal argument when Alosi allegedly pulled a semi-automatic handgun from his waistband, racked the slide, and pointed the gun at the man’s chest.
A woman witnessed the altercation and a child also heard the sound of a handgun being loaded.
Alosi told officers he did not point a handgun at the man.
Alosi was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on July 10, with a $10,250 surety and cash bond.
