1st Source Leads Forbes List of Best Banks In Indiana

INDIANA — Recently, Forbes magazine complied its list of best banks. Forbes collaborated with Statista, a marketing research firm, and surveyed 31,000 people. The survey measured customer satisfaction with customer service, branch services, and quality of financial advice offered. The South Bend-based 1st Source Bank was named Indiana’s best bank.
Survey participants were also asked to rank banks based on their fee transparency and if they are considered reasonable, the ease of using the bank’s website, and the overall trust the customer has in the bank.
Two other Indiana-based banks made the list. At number two, was the Converse-based First Farmers Bank & Trust. At number three, Merriville-based Centier bank.
Two other banks that are not Indiana-based but do maintain a big presence in Indiana were named. At number four, Chicago-based BMO Harris Bank. At number five, Cincinnati-based Fifth Third Bank.
