WARSAW — Archers interested in joining the city of Warsaw’s Deer Task Force program may apply online to participate in the city’s reduction effort for 2023-24.

Over the years, offering the opportunity for new members to be added into the program has been positive, according to the city.

Veterans in the program, along with others interested in applying for the first time, must apply through the city’s website. Go to the Warsaw Police Department’s webpage and click on the Deer Task Force link on the left. On the Deer Task Force page, you will find the online application form, updated links and other information.

Applications must be completed before the only required training time that will be offered, which will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, at the Warsaw Police Department. Interested archers will be invited to bring their own archery equipment and qualify in a shooting range.
