WARSAW — A Warsaw man was arrested for driving while intoxicated with an infant in the vehicle.
Eufracio Moyotl, 28, 1692 E. 200N Lot 131, Warsaw, is charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a BAC of .15 or more with a passenger under 18 years of age, a level 6 felony.
Just after midnight on Aug. 16, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy was in Warsaw when he noticed a vehicle fail to maintain its lane and drift left of center multiple times. The deputy pulled the vehicle over and identified its driver as Moyotl.
According to court documents, the deputy noticed Moyotl exhibiting signs of intoxication and also realized there was an infant in the vehicle.
Moyotl failed a field sobriety test and a portable breath test from Moyotl registered a 0.2% BrAC.
The deputy also realized a woman in the vehicle had an open alcoholic beverage in her purse. The woman said Moyotl handed her the drink to conceal it when they were pulled over.
Moyotl has already been arrested and has an initial hearing at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, in Kosciusko Superior Court Three.
