GOSHEN — Downtown Goshen Inc.’s October First Fridays Arts Tour will take place from 5-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6.

The Arts Tour will highlight and promote the work of local artists by providing a relaxed, arts-friendly atmosphere in downtown Goshen where local artists have the opportunity to get their work seen, get their work sold, and to connect with potential fans and buyers.

Participating businesses, restaurants and organizations in downtown Goshen will display the work of local artists in a show of support for those who create local fine art. Arts Tour displays will be open to the public and aesthetes in attendance at the event will have the opportunity to buy something totally unique and/or one-of-a-kind while, at the same time, supporting and encouraging the work of some of the area’s artists.

The event will also feature an elementary art exhibit for the young and the young-at-heart and a free kids craft activity, and participating businesses and retailers will host special in-store promotions. And as the Arts Tour will take place right in the heart of downtown Goshen, there will be no shortage of opportunities for food, drinks and refreshments.
