Subaru Reportedly Considering Indiana For Electric Vehicle Production

INDIANAPOLIS — As Japanese automaker Subaru considers the future of its electric vehicle production, it could ramp up production in the state of Indiana.
The automaker currently produces Legacy and Outback vehicles at its Lafayette plant.
Reuters recently reported Subaru executives think the Indiana factory could be a prime spot for making electric vehicles, but the company has made no decision.
Subaru’s chief executive met with Gov. Eric Holcomb when Holcomb recently visited Japan.
