WARSAW — Two people are facing criminal charges after officers found significant amounts of drugs in a Warsaw residence.

Trista Marie Bartman, 34, 210 S. Detroit St. Apartment 144, Warsaw, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; possession of a narcotic drug, a level 5 felony; and maintaining a common nuisance, a level 6 felony.

Joshua John Hamilton, 41, 928 S. Union St., Warsaw, is charged with visiting a common nuisance, a class B misdemeanor.

Three other individuals have already been arrested in this case: Tiffiany P. Kneller, 41, Fort Wayne; James A. Glant III, 40, Fort Wayne; and Tony Van Fountain, 28, Warsaw.

Officers served a search warrant at Fountain’s home on Aug. 21. Bartman and Hamilton were both in the home at the time.

According to court documents, upon searching the residence, officers found 5.7 grams of fentanyl, 20.1 grams of meth, drug paraphernalia, seven pills identified as a controlled substance, and a large amount of empty bags used for packaging drugs.

Bartman said she lived at Fountain’s home for two months and was aware Fountain wad dealing drugs. Officers found drugs and paraphernalia all over the residence.

Hamilton also admitted to using meth and marijuana.

Hamilton has an initial hearing at 1 p.m. Oct. 2, in Kosciusko Superior Court Two. Bartman has an initial hearing at 8:15 a.m. Oct. 5, in Kosciusko Circuit Court.
