This week’s Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week comes from the files of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.

On Oct. 1, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department took a theft report from an address in the 1000 block of Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. The theft occurred overnight between 6 p.m. on Sept. 30 and 9 a.m. today.

The home owner awoke and noticed that his 14-foot aluminum Jon boat and trailer were missing. The boat was painted camouflage with Indiana Registration IN 4849BA. It had a black 9.9 HP Mercury engine. The trailer was white and did not have a license plate.
