Grace Volleyball Pink Match On Tap
WINONA LAKE – Saturday’s volleyball match at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center will take on a deeper mission as Grace’s Cancer Care Game.
All funds raised from Saturday’s home game with St. Francis will assist families in Grace’s Athletic Department that are currently being affected by cancer.
“We want to draw awareness to and support for those who are being affected by cancer within our athletic department family,” said head coach Andria Harshman. “Thanks in advance to everyone who can support our Cancer Care Game on Saturday.”
Fans are encouraged to wear pink to Saturday’s match, which is set to begin at 3 p.m. The Lady Lancers’ players will be donning special pink uniforms to increase awareness and add support for those battling cancer.
Grace Volleyball will also be hosting a “Day with the Lancers” for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade on Oct. 19. Kids who register will get a clinic from Grace’s volleyball team, lunch and great seats to the Lady Lancers’ match against Indiana Wesleyan. For signup information, click here.
