Latin Dance Lessons And Spooky Events At Goshen Theater

GOSHEN — Here’s a look at what’s on tap at the Goshen Theater, 216 S. Main St., Goshen.
Latin Dance Class
Recreational and practical course aimed at anyone from 5 years old and older who wants to learn Latin and folk dances. Merengue, salsa, flamenco, bachata, the Venezuelan joropo and the Mexican zapateo are included, creating an energetic experience.
Classes start Friday, Oct. 13, and run through Friday, Dec. 15. A class for ages 5 to 13 is from 3-4 p.m. A class for ages 14 to 18 is from 4-5:30 p.m. And a class for ages 19 and older is from 5:30-7 p.m.
Each class costs $10.

‘The Music Man’
At 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, the Goshen Theater and Elkhart County Symphony will collaborate on an in-concert production of “The Music Man.” This is a one night only event and will feature live music and a full cast. Tickets are available for purchase here.
Spooky Songs And Sonnets
At 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, Carrie Lee Bland-Kendall, Marilyn Sexton Mason and friends will be performing in the Miller auditorium for a spooktacular evening of songs, sonnets and short stories to put you in the spooky mood. Tickets for adults will cost $25 and students, $20. Tickets can be purchased here.
Free Movie ‘Halloweentown’
At 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, the Goshen Theater will be hosting a free movie night in Miller Auditorium. The movie shown will be “Halloweentown,” and those attending are encouraged to wear costumes. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m.
‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’
The Goshen Theater and Art House will be collaborating to bring “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” to Miller Auditorium at midnight Saturday, Oct. 28. The event is for ages 18 and older. Costumes are encouraged. Tickets will be $15 and can be purchased here.
Trick-Or-Treating
From noon until 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, Goshen Theater will be participating in trick-or-treating in downtown Goshen. Stop in the theater for a treat.
