MILFORD — Help create colorful collaborations, one sticker at a time as Milford Public Library has two new Stick Together posters to work on this fall. One is in the adult area and the other in the children’s room.

The poster starts as a mystery — just a blank canvas — and it builds as everyone “sticks together” to create a surprising masterpiece. This project is for all ages, stages, personalities and skill levels. Everyone can participate equally. No one is left out of the fun. Can you guess what the picture is before its finished? Come in and spend some time working on the posters soon.

Socktober Continues

There are still a few days left of Socktober. Bring your donation of new socks for any age/size to the circulation desk upstairs or downstairs. Donations will be shared with Milford Food Pantry, Milford Food Bank and Milford School, and Oct. 31 is the last day it will accept donations.

Fall Story Time — Black Cats

Fall story time is at 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25. Children ages 3-6 are invited to attend. Miss Jenny will read some stories about black cats, have a fun craft to make and a delicious snack to share. If you would like to dress in your Halloween costume, you can do so. Bring some friends. You can still register to participate in story time. The last story time will be Wednesday, Nov. 15. It will be the annual Thanksgiving feast. There are still great stories to be heard, simple crafts to make and yummy snacks to share.

LEGO Challenge Deadline

The deadline to submit a photo of your LEGO pumpkin is 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27. Send the photo of your pumpkin to [email protected] and you could win a new LEGO kit. The next LEGO Saturday is from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 4, in the children’s department. Families are welcome.
