Get Free A1C Screening At Warsaw YMCA, Free BP Reading At North Webster Y

WARSAW, NORTH WEBSTER — Kosciusko Community YMCA sites in Warsaw and North Webster will be offering free blood pressure readings and/or free A1C screenings to detect pre-diabetes.
Free A1C screenings and free blood pressure readings will be available at the Parkview Warsaw YMCA, 1305 Mariners Drive, Warsaw. The times and dates are: 5:45-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, and 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10.
No fasting for the A1C test is required. While you get your A1C screening, you can also receive a free blood pressure reading led by YMCA staff and learn how the YMCA’s Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program can help you manage or reduce your blood pressure.
Only the free blood pressure readings and information about the blood pressure program will be available at the North Webster YMCA, 301 N. Main St., North Webster. The time and date is: 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 9.
The free A1C screenings are made possible through a federal grant.
