LaGrange American Legion Refinishes Veteran Wall
News Release
LAGRANGE — It has been quite the undertaking, but the LaGrange American Legion Post 215 has completed the refurbishing of the Veteran Wall.
James Trafford, post commander, has expressed his excitement about the wall refurbishment project’s completion before their Veteran’s Day program that is being held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11.
The program will include Sen. Sue Glick as a guest speaker, a performance from the Lakeland band, the Color Guard and a meal. Veterans will be fed for free and everyone else is by donation.
The wall project included power washing, grinding, filling, patchwork and painting. The signs were created by LaGrange-based sign company, Miller Sign.
