Tucker Assumes Role Of Maple Leaf Chief Executive Officer
News Release
LEESBURG — Maple Leaf Farms Inc. has announced that Scott Tucker has assumed the role of chief executive officer. Tucker was named incoming CEO in July 2023, succeeding now former CEO Scott Reinholt.
Tucker brings nearly 40 years of experience to the role, having held leadership roles in the company’s sales and marketing and operations departments prior to being named co-president in 2001. As co-president, he directly oversaw the company’s operations, live production, finance and quality assurance and food safety functions. His work in these areas has provided him with a broad perspective of the company’s operations and an appreciation for the many business challenges facing the business.
“Scott’s extensive experience within our business will serve him well as he leads this fourth-generation family business into the next phase of growth,” said Reinholt. “He values our company’s unique culture and is committed to preserving it while also pursuing innovative business strategies.”
Tucker officially assumes the role of chief executive officer Friday, Dec. 1. As he ascends into the role, Tucker will continue engaging the company’s leadership team, sharing his insights and assessing opportunities for future company growth.
“I am humbled to officially step into the role as Maple Leaf Farms chief executive officer and lead our incredible team,” said Tucker. “The foundation Scott Reinholt has helped our family business establish is strong, and I am honored to have the opportunity to work with our leadership team to continue to build on this deep heritage.”
