KCCVB New Digital Sign Provides Fresh Marketing For County Tourism

WARSAW — Kosciusko County Convention & Visitors Bureau, KCCVB recently completed construction of a new digital sign outside the Kosciusko County Visitor Center. This sign faces U.S. 30, in view of an estimated 8,826,430 million travelers who drive this route annually. The sign will be an effective, eye-catching marketing tool to drive and contribute to the county’s tourism economy.
The sign was fully grant funded by the American Rescue Plan Act and Kosciusko County Convention Recreation and Visitor Commission. The company chosen to design and construct the sign was Baldus Company. The brightness of the sign will dim to only 7% at night, to avoid any distraction to drivers. The sign will also be utilized for public safety messages when needed.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity through this digital sign to market to the millions who travel U.S. 30, sharing why Kosciusko County is the perfect place to live, work, play, and learn,” said Cori Humes, Executive Director of KCCVB.
“The Kosciusko Convention and Visitor Bureau is excited to unveil a new digital message board to our community and the many travelers that will drive by on US 30 on a daily basis. It has been a long-standing goal of KCCVB to have a digital message board on US 30 to promote the many county-wide activities throughout the year. Tourism is a significant economic driver for our county. In a recent study, it was determined that tourism brings over $270 million dollars to Kosciusko on an annual basis. We would like to thank the Kosciusko County Convention, Recreation, and Visitor Commission (KCCRV) and the Kosciusko ARPA Committee that made the digital message board possible,” said Doug Hanes, KCCVB Board Chair.
