Two North Manchester FFA Teams Advancing To National Contest

NORTH MANCHESTER — After competing in the State Competition last weekend, Manchester High School’s FFA chapter finished with two teams placing first, earning them spots at the National Contest in West Virginia in July 2024.
The Forestry Judging team consisting of Clark Showalter (1st overall), Thane Metzger (3rd), Maegan Metzger (8th) and Landon Gish (15th) won first place as a team, qualifying them for the National Contest.
The Crops Judging team of Lacey Dawson (2nd overall), Avery Atkins (3rd), Grace Hall (3rd) and Joscelyn Jones (8th) will also advance to the National Contest.
Additionally, the junior high Crop Judging team finished in fifth place, with Ella Peden in sixth place individually.
