Registration For Goshen Theater Spring Programs Now Open
Press Release
GOSHEN — Registration for spring programs at The Goshen Theater is now open.
GTDC Acting Studios
Students ages 7-18 can join The Goshen Theater for the first eight weeks of the spring semester as the seven- to 12-year-olds work on stage adaptations for popular children’s stories, with a special performance on March 3. Those ages 13-18 will spend the first eight weeks working on Shakespeare scenes and monologues to be performed on April 23.
Join us for the last 12 weeks of the spring semester as students collaborate through Improv and Devised Theater with their fellow actors to create a story to be turned into a short play. At the end of the semester, on May 31, students will share their short play with family, friends, and fans.
This class is instructed by Katie Barnes, GT education director.
Classes begin Jan. 8 and run until May 27, with the final showcase performance on May 31. There will be no class the week of Goshen Schools’ spring break (April 1-5).

At the end of the semester, students will perform their musical numbers for family, friends, and fans, on May 31.
Should spots fill up, two sections, divided by age group, will be considered.
The musical director is Marilyn Mason, Theatre’s Edge; and the choreographer is Liz Wickens, Expressions Dance.
