George E. Meyer, 85, Rochester, died at 7:07 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, 2023, at home.

He was born Feb. 28, 1938. On Feb. 2, 1971, he married Mary Kay Haskell, who preceded him in death in 2012.

He is survived by four children, Donald (Kim) Meyer, Rochester, Rhonda (Dave) Moore, Rensselaer, Heide Foster Snyder, Rochester, and Patrick Foster (Debbie Miller), Rochester; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, with one on the way; daughter-in-law, Christina Foster, Rochester; sister, Rochelle “Shimol” Bowie, Crown Point; a nephew; and a goddaughter.
