Goshen Man Arrested For Allegedly Operating Vehicle While Intoxicated

NAPPANEE — A Goshen man was recently arrested for allegedly operating a vehicle while under the influence.
Randall Raishawn Brandon, 32, 513 Danbury Drive, Goshen, is charged with operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalent to 0.15 or more, a class A misdemeanor; and operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction enhancement, a level 6 felony.
On Dec. 21, a Nappanee Police officer was patrolling SR 19 when he saw a vehicle drive off the right side of the roadway and drive left of center. The driver was also unable to maintain speed.
The officer pulled the vehicle over and identified its driver as Brandon.
According to court documents, Brandon was exhibiting several physical signs of intoxication. He also failed several field sobriety tests. Brandon registered 0.17% BrAC on a portable breath test and 0.19% on a certified chemical test.
Brandon was previously convicted of OWI in Elkhart County in September 2017.
Brandon was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Dec. 22, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
