‘What Can I Eat?’ Program To Manage Type 2 Diabetes Returns To Warsaw YMCA

WARSAW — “What Can I Eat?” will be returning to the Kosciusko Community YMCA this January.
The nutrition-based support program is designed by the American Diabetes Association to help people with type 2 diabetes eat their way to better diabetes control.
The program is free to anyone in the community who is living with type 2 diabetes and who has internet access.
Throughout the six-week program, participants will receive a free resource box and gift cards that can be used to prepare meals, as well as education on meal planning and budgeting. Each participant will also receive hands-on training to manage blood glucose better and will work with interactive content to learn to prepare meals.
The program starts Tuesday, Jan. 23, at the Parkview Warsaw YMCA, 1305 Mariners Drive, Warsaw, and continues on Tuesdays. An afternoon class at 12:15 p.m. and an evening class at 5:30 p.m. are being offered.
