Winter Weather Advisory In Effect For Northern Indiana

WARSAW — A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Kosciusko County and surrounding areas.
According to the National Weather Service of Northern Indiana, the advisory will be in effect until 4 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 14.
A Wind Chill Advisory will also be in effect for northern Indiana from 4 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, to 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15.
Additional snow accumulations of up to one inch are possible with wind gusts as high as 35 mph. Very cold wind chills are expected, with wind chills as low as 25 below zero.
Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Surrounding counties under these advisories include Elkhart, Fulton, Marshall, Noble, Wabash, and Whitley Counties.
