Judith Ruiz

VALPARAISO — A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared for a Valparaiso woman.

The Porter County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the disappearance of Judith Ruiz, a 51-year-old Hispanic woman who is 5 feet tall and weighs 125 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Judith was last seen wearing a blouse and pants with no shoes.

Judith is missing from Valparaiso, which is 150 miles northwest of Indianapolis, and was last seen at 2 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30. She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
