NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS AND ALL OTHER PERSONS AFFECTED BY THE PROPOSED AMENDING DECLARATORY RESOLUTION NO. 2024-01
AND THE NORTHEAST RESIDENTIAL HOUSING DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM PLAN FOR THE TOWN OF MILFORD, INDIANA REDEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION AREA AND NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
PROPOSED AMENDMENT
Taxpayers of the Town of Milford, Indiana (“Town”) and all other persons affected hereby are notified that the Town of Milford, Indiana Redevelopment Commission (“Commission”), did on December 12, 2022, adopt Resolution No. 2022-02 (as supplemented and amended to date, “Declaratory Resolution”), establishing the residential house development program (“Program”) pursuant to Indiana Code 36-7-14-53, creating an allocation area coterminous with the boundaries of the Program (“Area”) and adopting the Northeast Residential Housing Development Program Plan (“Plan”) for the Area. On March 11, 2024, the Commission adopted Resolution No. 2024-01 (“Amending Declaratory Resolution”) amending the Plan, among other things, to add the acquisition of certain real property described on Exhibit A to the Amending Declaratory Resolution (“Real Property”) to the Economic Development Plan (“Plan”). The Amending Declaratory Resolution, the Plan, as amended, and supporting data including maps and plats describing the Area, have been prepared and can be inspected at 121 S. Main St., Milford, IN 46542.
Notice is further given that the Commission will hold a public hearing on April 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. (local time) at 111 S. Main Street, Milford, IN 46542. The Commission will receive and hear remonstrances from persons interested in or affected by the proceedings pertaining to the amendments to the Declaratory Resolution, the Real Property and Plan. At the time fixed for the hearings or at any time prior thereto any person interested in the proceedings may file a written remonstrance with the Secretary of the Commission. At such hearings, which may be adjourned from time to time, the Commission will hear all persons interested in the proceedings and all remonstrances that have been filed. After considering this evidence, the Commission will take final action by either confirming, modifying and confirming, or rescinding the Amending Declaratory Resolution.
