Warsaw Parks Department Announces Everclear, Kimberly Perry As Headliners For Summer Concerts

WARSAW — The Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department has announced its headliners for its 2024 summer rock and country concerts.
Everclear, an alternative rock band, will perform at the Rockin’ for Riley Concert at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 21, at Warsaw’s Central Park. The group recently celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2022. According to the parks’ department’s website, Everclear has enjoyed a lengthy career, spanning 11 studio releases, including four that have been certified Gold or Platinum.
The June 21 concert will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with The Michael Weber show, with Everclear performing at 8 p.m. The 2023 Rockin’ for Riley concert raised over $11,000 for local families whose children are patients at Riley Children’s Hospital.
Kimberly Perry will headline the Country Concert for St. Jude at 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 19, at Warsaw’s Central Park. As one-third of the Grammy Award-winning superstar sibling trio The Band Perry, Kimberly has racked up sales of over 2.5 million albums, 13 million singles, and over two billion combined streams.
As a songwriter, her groundbreaking crossover #1 single “If I Die Young” helped Kimberly burst onto the world stage.
Kaitlyn Baker and Joe Lasher will open the show at 6:30 p.m., with Kimberly performing at 8 p.m. In 2023, almost $9,000 was collected for the children and families of St. Jude.
The Rockin’ for Riley Concert and Country Concert for St. Jude are both free for all ages.
The following groups will also perform as part of the Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department’s Summer Concert Series. All concerts are on Friday evenings at 7 p.m.

- Aug. 2 – Lake Area Community Band, Central Park Plaza (concert band)
- Aug. 9 – Big Daddy Dupree’s Broke & Hungry Blues Band, Lucerne Amphitheater (blues)
- Aug. 16 – Hubie Ashcraft, The Glover Pavilion (country)
No Summer Concert Series shows will be held on June 21 (Rockin’ for Riley Concert), July 5, July 19 (Country Concert for St. Jude), or July 26 (Family Carnival).
