Ivy Tech Seeking Funds For Goshen Center
Ivy Tech Community College is seeking funds for a new advanced manufacturing center in Goshen. During a recent meeting with the Elkhart County Redevelopment Commission, two executives said the school has already attracted approximately $2 million toward the plan.
North Central and Northwest Indiana Region Chancellor Thomas Coley and Executive Director for Resource Development Tom Kilian told the group 400 students would eventually graduate with degrees or certificates from the program each year.
The center would be geared toward automotive and recreational vehicle industry careers.
The commission could vote on funding the proposal next month.
