Phillips 66 Owner, Sons Arrested
Following an investigation that spanned 4 months, Warsaw Police served several arrest warrants for illegal sales of synthetic drugs on Halloween night.
The warrants were served at the Phillips 66 gas station at 2518 E. Center St., Warsaw, on the owner of the station and his sons, who serve as clerks there. The arrests follow a series of undercover purchases and testing of the substances being sold there.
Arrested were:
• Jaswant Singh, 55, Warsaw, who was charged with corrupt business influence, a Class C felony; and dealing in salvia or synthetic cannabinoids, a Class D felony. His bond was set at $5,000 surety.
• Simranjit Singh, 23, Warsaw, was charged with possession of a synthetic drug, a Class A misdemeanor. His bond was set at $10,000 surety.
• Belwinder Singh, 20, Warsaw, was charged with possession of a synthetic drug, a Class A misdemeanor. His bond was set at $10,000 surety.
Warsaw Police were assisted in their investigation by the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s office.
