Joseph J. Beer — UPDATED
Joseph “Joe” Beer, has passed away. His passing on June 11, 2024, was unexpected though he had battled diabetes and other health concerns in the last few years.
He was born on May 16, 1975, at Goshen Hospital in Goshen, to James “Jim” and Deborah (Jessop) Beer.
A graduate of Wawasee High School with the class 1994, Joe was remembered for his interest in science. He enjoyed time spent in the great outdoors, time spent fishing and also found joy in working on cars. He liked to cook for others and was a good cook.
His legacy lives on through his surviving family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving daughters: Alexis (Robert) Dziatczak of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Madison Beer of East Lansing, Mich.; mother, Debbie Jessop of Syracuse; three siblings: Jared (Rebecca) Beer of Syracuse, Cameron (Michelle) Beer of Indianapolis, and Candace (Jeff) Adams of Wooster, Ohio.
He was preceded in passing by his father Jim Beer; brother, Jamie Beer and his grandparents.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, is entrusted with care of Joe. Joe’s mother and siblings will host a memorial service on Monday, June 17, at Milford First Brethren Church, 110 W. Catherine St., in Milford; the service will begin at 2 p,m.
