An Apology To Two Officers, And To Kosciusko County
Dear Editor,
This letter is to Officer Matt Wynn of the Silver Lake Police Department and Officer Logan Pitts of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
My name is Robin T. Wood and this is my letter of apology. I was recently booked in the Kosciusko County Jail due to my reckless behavior and unacceptable actions.
While under the influence of alcohol, I was being unruly and unwilling to cooperate, ultimately putting Mr. Wynn in a position of force, which then led to my arrest. Later on in the evening, I was intercepted by Officer Logan Pitts to proceed with booking. During this process I became disorderly and overall made Mr. Pitts’ life harder than needed to be.
All that being said, I would like to apologize for the way I treated the both of you. I was in the wrong and accept full responsibility for all of my actions. I also realize that I had set a bad example in a community that I do so love.
So, for the people of Kosciusko County, I am apologizing to you as well for any hurt or disturbance I may have caused you. I seek a better way of doing things. A better way of being. Thank you for your time and thank you for your patience. God bless you, K-County, you and your endeavors.
Robin T. WoodÂ
