Briscoe selected as Administrator of the Year
News Release
WINONA LAKE — Chad Briscoe earned another national award as Grace College’s director of athletics.
He was recently chosen as the Administrator of the Year by TheLeadershipPlaybook.com. The award recognizes an individual in leadership who strives to develop other leaders, provides a positive example and seeks to improve those around them.
The program and award was developed by Jamy Bechler, a former college basketball coach who now works as a professional speaker and author.
“We are thrilled to recognize Chad as an example of not just an administrator, but a leader,” Bechler said. “It’s exciting to see someone with a larger purpose than just administering and managing. The best leaders seek to make the people around them better and build a strong, healthier culture, and that’s just what Chad is about.”
Briscoe, who has been selected as the Crossroads League Athletic Director of the Year four times, has led the Lancers to unparalleled success during his 15-year tenure. Grace’s teams have won 18 national championships since 2019 across 10 different sports.
For the past four years, the Lancers have also claimed the NCCAA Presidential Award, given to the top institution among NCCAA schools.
“It’s an honor to receive this award from The Leadership Playbook,” Briscoe said. “This award is a direct reflection on our coaches and student-athletes as they use athletics to impact the world for Christ. I appreciate the great work by Jamy Bechler to help equip administrators, coaches and athletes in the ever-changing world of college athletics.”
