Sharon Rose Yoder, age 49 of Nappanee, went to be with Jesus at 4:35 a.m. on Thursday morning July 4,  after a courageous 3-year battle with cancer. Sharon was born on April 8, 1975 in Elkhart to Wade and Judy (Anglemyer) Pfeiffer.

On May 28, 1994 she married Larry “Toby” Yoder at the First Church of God in Nappanee.

Sharon is survived by her husband Toby Yoder of Nappanee; 3 daughters: Katie (Ben) Sheets of Nappanee, Jackie (Jack) Waddell of Goshen, and Lexi Yoder of Nappanee; brother, Alan (Lori) Pfeiffer of Tippecanoe; 2 sisters: Sue (Ralph Baker) Carlisle and Diane Hill, both of New Paris and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, at the Nappanee Missionary Church Chapel (Entrance H).  There will be one hour of visitation from 9-10 a.m., prior to a 10 a.m. funeral on Wednesday morning, July 10,  at the Nappanee Missionary Church Worship Center.  Burial will follow in Union Center East Cemetery.
