Thelma “Jean” Bishop, 99, Burr Oak, died Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in her daughter’s home in Culver.

Biship was born Feb. 2, 1925. She married Wayne Bishop on June 26, 1943; he preceded her in death on Jan. 30, 1997.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Judy (Roger) “Buzz” Rogers of Culver; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Arthur Woolington of Plymouth.

Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, was in charge of arrangements.
