ELKHART — 1st Source Bank held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday, July 9, to celebrate the newly renovated Bristol Street Banking Center, 2020 E. Bristol St., Elkhart.

The location has been converted to the bank’s side-by-side banking model. Side-by-side banking invites the client behind the “teller line,” allowing for the bank’s clients and bankers to have a more transparent and inclusive experience and relationship.

Representatives from 1st Source Bank, local organizations and the construction company that handled the project were among those attending the ribbon cutting. During the event, the bank was scheduled to make a donation to the Council on Aging and to invite a representative from Tom’s 24-Hour Towing, a business client of the banking center, to share a testimonial.
