Benefit For Warsaw Woman Battling Lung Cancer Happening July 25 To 27
Staff Report
WARSAW — A benefit for a Warsaw woman battling Stage 4 lung cancer will take place from July 25 to 27.
Rhonda Utter received her diagnosis about two months ago. Since her diagnosis, it has now moved to her brain, kidneys, and liver. She has decided to forego recommended treatment because it would not prolong her life much. Any chemotherapy may offer a short remission, but the cancer would return even more aggressively.
A yard sale will take place from July 25 to 27 at 316 S. Lake St. in Warsaw. The sale will take place on each day from 8 a.m. until about 4 p.m. Yard sale items can be dropped off at the address on July 25.
A bake sale will also take place on Saturday, July 27, at the same location, with coney dogs and chips available for $6 starting at 11 a.m. that day. Bake sale items can be dropped off on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m.
All proceeds will assist with Utter’s expenses.
