Warsaw Man Arrested For OWI With Two Children In Vehicle

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested for allegedly driving under the influence while two children were in his vehicle.
Kaleb Michael Greenwood, 27, 115 S. Pine St., Warsaw, is charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a class C misdemeanor; and operating a vehicle with an ACE of 0.15 or more with a passenger under the age of 18, two counts of neglect of a dependent, and operating a vehicle with an ACE of 0.08 or more with a prior conviction, all level 6 felonies.
On July 18, a Warsaw Police officer saw a vehicle fail to signal a lane change and pulled the vehicle over. The driver was identified as Greenwood.
According to court documents, the officer noticed Greenwood was exhibiting physical signs of intoxication. Greenwood admitted to consuming two beers within the last two hours. Two children were in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
Greenwood failed several field sobriety tests and registered 0.17% on a portable breath test. Certified chemical test results are pending.
Greenwood was previously convicted of OWI in Kosciusko County in February.
Greenwood was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on July 18.
