Woman Arrested In Kosciusko County For OWI

WARSAW — A woman was recently arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in Warsaw.
Tara Nicole Link, 30, North Judson, is charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a class C misdemeanor; and operating a vehicle with an ACE of 0.08 or more with a prior conviction, a level 6 felony.
On Aug. 13, a Warsaw Police officer saw a vehicle traveling 70 mph in a 50-mph zone on Lake City Highway. The officer pulled the vehicle over and identified its driver as Link.
According to court documents, the officer noticed Link was exhibiting physical signs of intoxication and later learned she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest in Starke County.
Link failed two field sobriety tests and tested 0.12% BrAC on a portable breath test. Certified chemical test results are pending.
Link was previously convicted of OWI in Starke County in January. She also has two other criminal convictions in Starke County and is on pre-trial release for three additional charges.
Link was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Aug. 13.
