Nicholas Jeremiah Michael Shroyer

PIERCETON — A Pierceton man was arrested for allegedly distributing an intimate video of a woman without her consent.

Nicholas Jeremiah Michael Shroyer, 35, 402 W. Market St., Pierceton, is charged with distribution of an intimate image, a class A misdemeanor.

On July 22, a Pierceton Police officer spoke with a woman who said Shroyer was stalking her and sending videos to other individuals. The woman said the videos included nude images of her.

According to court documents, the woman said she began receiving messages from Shroyer on Facebook shortly after July 13. She attempted to block the account, but said Shroyer would show up at different locations and try to speak with her. Due to this behavior, the woman said she unblocked him on Facebook.

During a conversation, Shroyer sent the woman intimate videos. She told the officer Shroyer sent one of the videos to a man. The officer advised the woman to have the man contact him and to get a protective order against Shoryer.

The man called the officer on July 28. He said Shroyer sent him an intimate video involving Shroyer and the woman on July 18.

Shroyer has already been arrested and released on bond.
