UPDATE: Two Injured In Motorcycle Accident On Eastshore Drive

SYRACUSE — Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Eastshore Drive and South County Line Road, Syracuse on Tuesday, Aug. 27. The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department, Syracuse Police and Turkey Creek Fire Territory responded at 4:06 p.m.
A white 2006 Pontiac Vibe was stopped at the intersection of Eastshore Drive and South County Line Road and began to turn left, westbound. A 2007 Harley Davidson Softtail motorcycle driven by Teric McCool, 40, Warsaw, was traveling westbound on South County Line Road. McCool was unable to stop when the Pontiac entered his path of travel and struck the rear of the vehicle.
McCool complained of pain and minor bleeding, while his passenger, Beth Books, 34, Warsaw, complained of pain and sustained a head injury. Both were transported for their injuries. The driver of the Pontiac was uninjured.
The crash is still under investigation by the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department.
