I grew up in South Bend where I attended grade school and three years at St. Joseph’s High School.

Moving to Warsaw, I graduated from WCHS in 1973 and went on to Ball State University for undergraduate and graduated from the Indiana University School of Optometry. I am still practicing optometry, having opened my practice in 1980. I served five years on the Warsaw Plan Commission, 12 years on the Warsaw City Council and 12 years as mayor. My wife Jill and I have been married 45 years and are blessed with two sons, two daughters and seven grandchildren.
