Class Of 1984 Reunion Is Tomorrow
WARSAW – The 40th reunion for the WCHS Class of 1984 will be held Saturday, Sept 7, at Forest Ridge Family Campground, 5000 Elder Road, Larwill.
Time: 3 p.m. until the bonfire goes out
Please bring:
- A covered dish to share
- BYOB/drinks
- Camping chair
Optional items to bring:
- Sweatshirt or jacket
- Insect repellent
- Outdoor games/card games
- Significant other
There is a covered pavilion and an indoor area for our dinner. The pavilion has a small kitchen and modern restrooms with running water and electricity. Dinner will be at 5:30 p.m. As of now, the meat/main dishes on the menu include pulled pork and chicken. Please bring a covered dish to share: meat/main dish, salad, dessert, appetizer, chips or any sort of side – hopefully we will end up with a nice variety. Paper plates, napkins, and plastic forks, knives and spoons are being provided for everyone, so don’t worry about bringing your own tableware (other than serving spoons/utensils for your side dish if needed).
Campsites may be reserved for those who would like to stay overnight. Contact Forest Ridge for camping reservations and ask to be put with other 1984 class reunion campers.
This is a relaxing, informal get-together. Just a group of classmates getting together to catch up, enjoy a meal together, and relax by the fire. There are no tickets to purchase and there is no cost involved, as one of our classmates has generously covered the pavilion rental fee. There will be corn hole and other games for those interested.
As of now, the weather forecast shows partly cloudy skies with a high of 64 during the day and temps dropping to 41 in the evening, so please dress accordingly.
