Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 7:58 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, South Country Club Road, north of Winona Beach Drive, Warsaw. Driver: William A. Watson, 58, South Tally Ho Circle, Warsaw. Watson swerved to miss a dog, and his vehicle hit a tree. He was taken to the hospital after complaining of head, neck and back pain. Damage up to $10,000.
- 6:52 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, North CR 100E, at the intersection of East CR 200N, Warsaw. Drivers: Amanda L. Medley, 39, Westside Drive, Warsaw; and Julia F. Brainerd, 60, Deer Run North, Warsaw. Medley believed it was her turn to go. Her vehicle hit Brainerd’s. Damage up to $10,000.
- 3:24 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2, West State Street, at the intersection of North Pearl Street, Etna Green. Drivers: Connie Gayheart, 48, West Broadway Street, Etna Green; and Lenvil D. Ousley, 51, North Main Street, Bourbon. Gayheart tried to go through an intersection and hit Ousley’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
- 7:58 a.m. Monday, Sept. 2, West CR 250S, at the intersection of South SR 25, Warsaw. Driver: Magaly Jimenez, 25, South Pine Mills Road, Warsaw. Jimenez swerved to miss an animal. Her vehicle went down a hill and hit a fence post. Damage up to $2,500.
- 9:20 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, West CR 200N, east of North CR 350W, Warsaw. Driver: Hoguer Trejosarabia, 34, West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Trejosarabia’s vehicle hit a tree. Damage up to $5,000.
- 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, South County Farm Road, south of West Hoppus Road, Warsaw. Driver: Charissa Wilson, 22, Pheasant Ridge Road, Warsaw. Wilson’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $2,500.
