Cutler Man Arrested For Alleged Battery
Staff Report
WARSAW — A Cutler man was arrested after allegedly battering a woman.
Trevor Lee Pitzer, 25, 73 E. 500S, Cutler, is facing charges of domestic battery – moderate bodily injury, a Level 6 felony; strangulation, a Level 6 felony; intimidation, a Level 6 felony; domestic battery with a prior conviction, a Level 6 felony; and domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor.
According to a Kosciusko County probable cause affidavit, a Syracuse Police officer met with a woman who said Pitzer battered her.
The woman said Pitzer had several bruises on his head and she wanted to contact the police about it.
The woman said Pitzer said no, then grabbed a bottle of wine and shoved it under her chin. Pitzer told her he wanted to beat her face with the bottle.
The woman said Pitzer choked her. She said Pitzer said if she moved slightly he would hit her, gouge out her eyeballs, feed them to her and make her children orphans.
Pitzer indicated he was the devil and the woman was getting what she deserved for playing with monsters.
He hit her in the mouth multiple times and cut her on the chest and stomach with a microblading razor. He also cut her thigh and said that was for the following reasons: because of a friendship she had, for laughing at a male co-worker’s joke; and for being too friendly at work.
Pitzer also said he cut her to remind her of consequences if she didn’t follow the rules.
The officer spoke with another woman who said the first woman showed her the scars Pitzer had left on her and had been crying and shaking. Pitzer also followed the woman.
Several Syracuse officers found Pitzer, who said he had a small argument with the woman because he thought about breaking up.
Pitzer said the woman threw a vase at his head, which shattered. He told the woman he was going to call police.
He said the woman made the cuts on herself and he took the razor away from her.
Officers couldn’t find any broken vase pieces at the scene.
Pitzer was previously convicted of domestic battery in Wells County in December 2023. He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Sept. 3.
